The New Hollywood Benefit 2025: A Night of Purpose, Power, & Performance
On May 10th, I had the extraordinary honor of co-producing and performing in 501(c)3 nonprofit The New Hollywood’s Benefit Concert - and I can honestly say it was one of the most powerful, joyful nights I’ve ever been a part of.
Held at the historic Monroe Forum at El Portal Theatre in Los Angeles, the benefit brought together a stunning lineup of Broadway talent, on-screen stars, dancers, and musicians for an evening in service of something bigger than ourselves. I was involved not only co-producing the event (a feat we’ve been working towards since last fall!), but also as a performer - singing, dancing, and playing guitar - alongside some of the most gifted artists I’ve ever shared a stage with.
Co-producing this show was no small feat. It was months of planning, coordination, late-night spreadsheets, rehearsals, and everything in-between. From curating the lineup to collaborating with our incredible director, choreographer, and team, this event stretched me in all the best ways. To step into the spotlight that night, not only as a performer but as a producer, felt like the kind of night where every ounce of effort is worth it.
In Support of The New Hollywood Accountability Program
The New Hollywood Accountability Program supports formerly homeless single mothers working to rebuild their lives through a powerful framework of grants, goals, mentorship, and sisterhood. I’ve been working with this program for the past few years, and watching these badass, resilient women transform their lives - from securing housing and jobs to healing generational cycles of trauma - has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. It’s not charity. It’s empowerment. It’s real, lasting change.
This benefit was for them. For their children. For what’s possible when women support each other and rise together.
